Equal and Opposite is an interactive installation created through collaboration with artist Rachel Knoll as part of the Gallery 148 exhibition entitled Equal and Opposite. The project is inspired by Newton's Third Law of Motion, stating that with every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This installation uses the participating viewers' own potential energy to give kinetic energy to the sculpture. Based on phenakistoscope animation, the visuals are brought to life through the rotating motion.
